How to Get Gems in Anime Expeditions

Updated Jul 19, 2026 · 7 min · Resources

Gems come from codes, Story and mode clears, dailies/weeklies, achievements, events, and mail. Exact quantities vary — check in-game.

High-priority gem sources

  • Active codes (largest free bursts; see Codes page)
  • Story chapter and map first-clear rewards
  • Daily and weekly challenges
  • Beginner Path and tutorial-style quest lines
  • Level milestones and achievements
  • Limited events and update mail gifts
  • Battle pass or paid tracks when you choose to buy (optional)

Progression loop that actually pays gems

Push Story until you stall, farm the highest map you can clear efficiently for materials and equipment, complete dailies, then convert spare resources into better units so the next Story wall falls. Gems are a byproduct of finishing content — not only of AFK farming.

Spending priority

  • Beginner Tickets / Beginner Banner first
  • Standard Banner while filling SS/S carries
  • Mini Banner only for intentional featured chases
  • Do not gem-panic into random banners after one failed clear

What we will not invent

This guide does not publish fabricated gem-per-hour tables or guaranteed farm timers. When a source is unconfirmed, treat it as provisional and verify in-client.
